Author, Business Coach, public speaker and SmartHub Manager Elize Hattin holds professional qualifications in Psychology, Information Science, Coaching and Business Management and has a background in entrepreneurship, human centered design thinking and innovation.  

Elize recognizes the challenges and opportunities presented by globalization, digital transformation, cultural change and rapid technological advancements. In her role as SmartHub Business Manager she is responsible for building an innovation ecosystem and co-working space called the SmartHub. The SmartHub provides the environment and resources which enable new and traditional enterprises to adopt technology, innovate new business models, redefine target markets and channels to market as connectivity opens access to global markets. In addition, the SmartHub provides the impetus for the creation of Startups (high growth companies) in the Rockhampton region. This is achieved through the execution of 15 select strategies that collectively build the 5 pillars of an effective innovation ecosystem (Talent, Density, Culture, Capital and Government regulation). The SmartHub has seen significant growth in the number of new innovative enterprises as well as high growth Startups in the Rockhampton region since its inception in 2016.
