博涛先生兼有国际视野和行业经验。他曾在知名制造业企业担任国际业务总监，在澳大利亚工业组织担任出口业务顾问。在来澳贸委任职之前，他是一家专注于中国业务的咨询公司的合伙人。

在调任北京之前，他隶属澳大利亚贸易委员会负责东亚业务的团队，担任高管办公室要职，主要负责中国和东盟市场。

博涛先生能讲流利的汉语，他拥有国际关系、国际商业双学士学位，同时正攻读会计硕士。

Matthew Brent is Trade Commissioner for the Australian Trade Commission, based at the Australian Embassy in Beijing.  Matthew leads the Austrade China Infrastructure and Energy Team and Marketing Team in China.  

With previous experience at an equipment supplier as international business development manager, and as an export advisor for the Australian Industry Group, Matthew has had exposure to international trade at the business, industry and government levels.  Before joining Austrade, Matthew was a director of a China focused consultancy business.  

Prior to commencing work in Beijing, Matthew worked in the East Asia Growth Markets team in Austrade’s head office in Sydney, which is responsible for overseas posts in Greater China and ASEAN.    

Matthew speaks fluent Mandarin, has a Bachelor of Arts (International Relations), a Bachelor of Commerce (International Business) and is completing a Masters of Professional Accounting.
